Dr. Sri Palle Raghunatha Reddy A.P Minister for IT and Public information inaugurated One day Seminar on the topic Role of Media in Social Transformation. In this connection the Minister said that Sustenance of Moral Values is absolutely necessary, keeping in view the present state of the Society. He also expressed deep concern that due to lack of love and affection in the society all are under stress and peacelessness. Brahma Kumaris have been contributing to a great deal in establishing a Value Based Society through different programmes. He expressed his happiness that Brahma Kumaris have given a special attention and working very hard in serving and supporting the Media and related Professionals. This Seminar on Media’s Role in bringing a Positive Transformation in Society would definitely benefit the Media Persons not only at their personal level but also in their profession. He added that he has a strong conviction that Brahma Kumaris possess an extra ordinary power in fulfilling the objective of bringing a Positive and Value Based Transformation in the Society.

BK Sushant bhai, National Coordinator, Media Wing, Brahma Kumaris said that people of the society are closely watching what is being reported by the media where proper co-ordination is lacking among several media agencies in reporting the news. The news is being promoted in a routine manner and this is very dangerous to the society. The inner values are developed only with Spirituality. He expressed that people should be habituated for Simple Living and High thinking.
